Laboratory for Intelligent Systems

The Laboratory for Intelligent Systems (LIS) (formerly the Automated Reasoning Laboratory), is one of the several research labs residing within the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS) in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Purpose

The aim of this laboratory is to provide a state-of-the-art facility to stimulate and to carry out fundamental and applied research in the areas of Applied and Artificial Intelligence.

Topics under research include:

• Planning and Scheduling
• Robot Navigation
• Temporal Reasoning and Problem Solving

• Neural Network Architectures
